GOSHEN, Ind. — The Elkhart County Fairgrounds hosted the Science Spooktacular, a family-friendly event organized by the E-3 Robotics Center, offering a range of interactive experiences for attendees.
The event featured around 20 stations where families could engage in various science experiments and creative activities designed to stimulate curiosity in young minds. The initiative aims to inspire a new generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
Among the highlights was the participation of local robot builders, Ethan Graber and Noah Johnson, who showcased their robotics projects. They acknowledged the dedication required for building robots, citing significant investments in time, energy, and resources. “It’s a commitment, but as Noah said, it’s worth it and it’s a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it,” Graber stated.
In addition to robotics displays, attendees enjoyed live animal shows, a sky dome experience, and a flight simulator, enhancing the event’s educational offerings.
The Science Spooktacular not only provided entertainment but also served as a platform to encourage interest in STEM fields among the community’s youth.
