New General Manager Named for Four Seasons Dominican Republic
Four Seasons has appointed Hervé Fucho as General Manager of the upcoming Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia, slated to open in 2027. This announcement marks a significant milestone for the luxury hotel brand as it prepares to launch its first property in the Dominican Republic.
The resort will be located along Playa Esmeralda on the northeastern coast of the country and is being developed by Cisneros Real Estate. Designed with a tropical modernist aesthetic, the property aims to incorporate sustainability and elements reflecting the local environment and culture into its offerings.
Fucho brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He began his career in hospitality in France and has worked in various capacities across restaurants in England, Ireland, and Germany. Since joining Four Seasons, he has held multiple culinary and operational roles at various international locations.
His previous positions include serving as Executive Chef in Punta Mita and Hong Kong, overseeing culinary operations for establishments recognized with Michelin stars. Fucho also transitioned into resort operations, having worked at a former Four Seasons property in St. Petersburg, Russia. Most recently, he served as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo in Mexico, where he contributed to the development of a sustainable farm linked to the resort’s culinary program.
In his new role at the Four Seasons Resort Dominican Republic at Tropicalia, Fucho is responsible for the pre-opening phase of the property, focusing on operational planning, team development, guest experiences, and establishing service standards.
