President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Syracuse on Friday for a rally, accompanied by Republican candidate for New York governor, Bruce Blakeman. The event will take place at the OnCenter, starting at 5:30 p.m., with doors opening at 3 p.m.
This visit marks Trump’s first appearance in Syracuse in a decade. The former president and Blakeman have previously shared the stage, notably at an event on Long Island during the summer.
In anticipation of the rally, the Syracuse City School District has announced that all after-school activities will be canceled or rescheduled. Additionally, the STEAM High School and Information Technology Center (ITC), located near the OnCenter, will dismiss students at noon on Friday.
