SINGAPORE, Sept. 24, 2026 — Reconova made its entrance at the inaugural PTE Asia 2026, which took place from September 23 to 24 in Singapore. The company highlighted its advancements in embodied artificial intelligence (AI) with several products tailored for the aviation sector, including a baggage transfer robot and innovative passenger processing solutions. This showcase aimed to demonstrate the potential for embodied intelligence to streamline airport operations while enhancing overall productivity. The presentations garnered significant interest from airport operators and industry experts across the region.
Focus on Airport Modernization
Data from the Airports Council International (ACI) indicates a substantial wave of infrastructure investment in airports throughout Asia and the Middle East, with projections estimating around $240 billion to be allocated over the next decade. This investment will fund new airport constructions, terminal expansions, and modernization initiatives. Moreover, there is an increasing demand for automation and AI technologies to meet the operational needs of airports.
With nearly ten years of experience in smart aviation, Reconova has established its technologies at over one-third of China’s civil airports. Building on a foundation of extensive technological development and large-scale project implementations, the company is adapting its products to align with the evolving demands for digitalization and automation in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
Reconova’s product line boasts a comprehensive embodied intelligence technology architecture that includes visual perception, cognition, reasoning, and execution capabilities. Its technology is centered around vision foundation models, which enable visual agents to perform effectively, while embodied robots are utilized as strategic enhancements.
At PTE Asia 2026, the company demonstrated its AntOne baggage transfer robot, which illustrates how its technology can be practically integrated into airport operations. Reconova’s presence at this exhibition signifies a crucial phase in its international growth strategy. The company plans to implement a collaborative, asset-light model to introduce its technologies and standards into global markets, initially targeting key airports in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Reconova is also conducting a proof of concept (PoC) for its intelligent passenger processing solution at Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, it is seeking to expand the reach of the AntOne baggage transfer robot into European and Japanese markets.
The growth of embodied intelligence in airport operations holds the potential to significantly enhance efficiency and passenger experience. As airports invest heavily in modernization, the integration of AI technologies like those offered by Reconova could play a vital role in meeting the increasing operational demands of the aviation sector.
