East Knox FFA Members Attend Ohio Farm Science Review
Members of the East Knox Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization recently attended the Farm Science Review at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio. Seventeen students participated in the event, which showcases the latest advancements in agricultural production.
The Farm Science Review draws approximately 140,000 visitors from across the United States and Canada over its three-day run. Attendees explore more than 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors. This year, the event featured educational programs led by specialists from Ohio State University, emphasizing the importance of staying informed about current agricultural practices.
The event spans an 80-acre exhibit area that allows both visitors and exhibitors to engage with various aspects of agriculture. While static displays are showcased within the exhibit space, the Farm Science Review also dedicates over 600 acres for field demonstrations, including corn and soybean combines, tillage practices, nutrient and lime applications, and drainage installations.
Participating students included Jameson Perry, Oliver Moran, Karson Legros, Jaiden Frost, Zoey Shelley, Amelia Maidel, Haley Page, Teanna Goodman, Bryar Wilson, Brayden Moran, Adalynn Rooth, Garrett Wesney, Noah Beckley, McKaylee Garman, Addison Schillinger, Zach Lahmon, and Dixon Weaver.
The Farm Science Review continues to serve as a critical platform for agricultural education and innovation, fostering the next generation of farming professionals.
