FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Discovery Center has partnered with the Fresno Unified School District to enhance science education through after-school programs. This collaboration is designed to provide students with more opportunities to participate in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) activities.
During recent demonstrations, educators at the center showcased interactive learning experiences available to students, including a farmers market display where children can engage in shopping activities and practice counting money.
In addition to educational programs, the Fresno Discovery Center is preparing for its “Tricks and Treats” event on Saturday. This festive occasion will feature performers, games, and food trucks, with a special invitation for attendees to bring costumed dogs for a contest. Tickets for the event are priced at $2.
Registration is also currently open for the Discovery Center’s Thanksgiving break camp, which is set to take place from November 23 to 25.
