In the Las Vegas Raiders’ 45-17 defeat to the New England Patriots on Sunday, running back Mike Washington had a minimal impact, logging only a five-yard carry and a reception for five yards on his single target.
Washington’s playing time dropped significantly as Ashton Jeanty, who was cleared to participate after dealing with ankle and foot injuries leading up to the game, assumed the primary role. Washington completed just five offensive snaps, while Jeanty played 45 and teammate Dylan Laube had 23 snaps, indicating a diminished role for Washington in the team’s running back rotation.
The Raiders are set to return home for their next two matchups, with their next game scheduled against the Buffalo Bills on October 18.
