The updated Zeekr 7X electric SUV has officially launched in Europe, featuring a notable power boost of 40 horsepower. The vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and comes equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) developed by Bosch. Customers in France can place orders starting at 52,990 EUR (approximately 59,310 USD), with deliveries expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
This European version of the Zeekr 7X differs significantly from its Chinese counterpart, which offers a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) option producing 585 kW (784 hp) and a substantial 103 kWh battery. In contrast, the European model utilizes an 800V high-voltage architecture, starting with a single motor configuration that delivers 335 kW (449 hp) and accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
The 7X features a 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a range of 482 km under WLTP testing conditions. A Long Range variant with a 100 kWh ternary NMC battery extends the range to 627 km. Previous models of the 7X offered ranges of 480 and 618 km, indicating slight improvements in efficiency with this update.
The AWD variant of the updated 7X benefits from the 40 hp increase, reaching a peak power output of 500 kW (670 hp) and achieving a top speed of 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, which is an improvement over the previous version. This model also offers a range of 545 km under WLTP conditions and can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
Design changes for the Zeekr 7X include revised bumpers and a redesigned center console, which now lacks a bulky storage compartment behind the wireless charging area. In addition, Zeekr has partnered with AirConsole to introduce in-car gaming capabilities.
Equipped with Bosch’s ADAS, the Zeekr 7X features seven cameras and three mm-wave radars to facilitate adaptive cruise control and remote parking assistance. However, it does not include Geely’s G-ASD G-Pilot system or advanced features like Navigate On Autopilot, which other brands are starting to implement in Europe.
