Godspower Oshodin, founder of the Africa Literature Trust Fund, has announced a book tour for his new work, “Even the Devil Wears a Pretty Smile.” The tour will include public readings and book signings in three cities: Kigali, Accra, and Cannes, scheduled for November and December 2026.
The book tour will kick off on November 7, 2026, in Kigali, Rwanda. Following that, Oshodin will host an event in Accra, Ghana, on December 4, and conclude in Cannes, France, on December 18.
Each event will feature a reading from the book, a signing session, and a question-and-answer period with attendees. Oshodin expressed his excitement about connecting with readers in Africa and Europe, stating, “Reading aloud in front of an audience is one of the oldest ways of sharing a story. I am glad to take this book to readers in Africa and Europe, and to do it as part of the work we do at the Africa Literature Trust Fund to bring books and readers together.”
The Africa Literature Trust Fund, established in Abuja, Nigeria, in 2013, aims to promote reading, writing, and language across Africa. The organization also supports the publication of works by African authors. Oshodin invites writers to submit their manuscripts through the fund’s website at www.africaliteraturetrustfund.org.
Further dates for the book tour are expected to be announced for 2027 once confirmed.
