Astute Technology will showcase its innovations at electronica 2026, scheduled to be held from November 10 to 13 at Messe München. Attendees can find the company in Hall C5 at Stand 421, where the team will present a variety of application demonstrations and engage in engineering discussions.
This year’s exhibition will focus on intelligent, low-power computing at the edge. With the growing demand for smart devices, engineers are faced with the challenge of processing information locally while adhering to strict power, space, and thermal constraints. Astute Technology has partnered with several manufacturers to address these challenges, including Axelera AI, Alif Semiconductor, XMOS, Sensory, Azoteq, and Octavo Systems.
Key highlights will include Axelera AI’s Metis inference hardware and Voyager SDK, which are applicable to machine vision, automated inspection, and intelligent monitoring. Alif Semiconductor will present its AI-enabled microcontrollers and fusion processors designed for compact, battery-operated devices. Octavo Systems will contribute to the edge AI landscape with its System-in-Package devices that integrate processors, memory, and power management, thereby simplifying board design and accelerating development.
The exhibit will also emphasize sensing, voice, and human-machine interface (HMI) technologies. XMOS and Sensory will demonstrate solutions for far-field voice processing and wake-word detection, critical for products requiring immediate local control. Azoteq is set to showcase capacitive and inductive sensing technologies with integrated haptic feedback, relevant for wearables, home appliances, and industrial applications.
Furthermore, security and connectivity solutions will be displayed. SCI Semiconductor will highlight its CHERI-based microcontrollers featuring hardware-enforced memory protection, while Quantum Dice will introduce quantum random number generators that ensure continuous entropy verification. These technologies are particularly significant for teams aiming to comply with the Cyber Resilience Act. Additionally, Edgecore Networks will present open networking and SONiC-based data center switching solutions, and RLS will demonstrate magnetic encoder technology for robotics and automation.
Astute Technology will also feature offerings from Apacer, Innodisk, and Exascend, focusing on industrial memory and storage solutions where factors like operating temperature, endurance, and data integrity are crucial.
Visitors are encouraged to bring specifications, unresolved engineering challenges, or early concepts. The Astute team will be available to assist with component selection and design-in support throughout the event.
