Arenas Europe announced the addition of the Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland, to its network, enhancing its presence within the country. The Atlas Arena, which accommodates up to 15,000 spectators, becomes the fourth Polish member of the association, joining the ERGO ARENA in Gdańsk/Sopot, PreZero Arena in Gliwice, and TAURON Arena in Kraków.
The inclusion of the Atlas Arena was confirmed in mid-October 2026. Arenas Europe, previously known as the European Arenas Association (EAA), underwent a rebranding in spring 2026 after 35 years of operation. The organization focuses on fostering collaboration, sharing expertise, and raising standards across Europe’s live entertainment venues.
With the Atlas Arena’s membership, Arenas Europe now encompasses 49 arenas across 21 European nations. Earlier additions to the network include two venues from Northern Europe announced in July 2026: Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki and Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
Robert Fitzpatrick, President of Arenas Europe, welcomed the Atlas Arena and highlighted its role in strengthening the organization’s footprint in a rapidly growing live entertainment market. “The Atlas Arena brings valuable expertise and great ambition to our community,” he stated.
Maciej Łaski, Managing Director of the Atlas Arena, expressed enthusiasm about joining the association, noting the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices with other European venues. “We look forward to learning from our colleagues across Europe and sharing our own experiences,” he said, emphasizing the aim to enhance the experiences offered to artists, events, and audiences.
