BFG Provisions has launched a new provisioning location at Marina Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, coinciding with the company’s fifth anniversary. This expansion aims to enhance its regional supply network, providing European-sourced food, beverages, interior supplies, and galley essentials to yachts navigating the Caribbean.
The newly established base will serve a variety of destinations, including the US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. As part of its growth strategy, BFG Provisions is considering developing a logistics model that may involve small cargo aircraft for regional deliveries.
Founded in Greece, BFG Provisions has previously expanded to prominent yachting locations such as Italy, France, Croatia, and the UAE. The Dominican Republic base is expected to support superyachts, captains, owners, and crew as they visit the Caribbean. This location will also facilitate the company’s broader efforts to build relationships with local businesses and strengthen regional supply networks.
BFG Provisions’ approach emphasizes responsive communication and personalized service, tailored to each vessel’s requirements. The timing of this expansion aligns with the Caribbean winter season, enabling BFG Provisions to assist yachts preparing for upcoming events, including the 19°70° Superyacht Rendezvous scheduled for December.
The South American expansion not only marks a significant milestone for BFG Provisions but also represents an opportunity to enhance support for the visiting superyacht fleet in the Caribbean region.
