Launch of Weekly Program “Governmental Podium”
On November 4, 2026, Emmanuel Ménard, Haiti’s Minister of Communication, officially launched a new weekly program titled “Governmental Podium.” This initiative aims to enhance the visibility of government actions, improve public information flow, and strengthen communication between the government and citizens.
The program was introduced as part of a broader effort to revitalize public communication, as outlined by Prime Minister Fils-Aimé. Lucien Jura, Secretary of State for Communication, is leading this initiative, which intends to provide the public with a clearer understanding of government initiatives.
During its inaugural episode, Kathia Verdier, the Minister for Haitians Living Abroad, was featured as the special guest. She discussed the key accomplishments of her ministry and addressed important issues affecting the Haitian diaspora.
The premiere episode included a variety of segments, such as a guest profile, a documentary highlighting the achievements of the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad, a news segment, and a humorous interlude designed to engage viewers and meet their needs for official information.
