Seattle Reign FC forward Nerilia Mondesir has been selected for the Haiti Women’s National Team for their upcoming FIFA international window. The team will travel to France to participate in two international friendlies, facing Japan on October 9 at Stade Bauer in Saint-Ouen and Australia on October 13 at Stade Walter-Luzi in Chambly.
Mondesir, who captains the Haitian team, has been a key player for Seattle this season, making 24 appearances and starting 10 matches, totaling 1,066 minutes on the field. Throughout the season, she has contributed to three goals, scoring once and providing two assists.
In her most recent international competition, Mondesir scored in Haiti’s friendly match against New Zealand on June 14, where her goal helped the team secure a 2-1 victory after coming back from a first-half deficit.
This year, Haiti clinched a spot in the 2026 Concacaf W Championship by finishing at the top of Group D with an undefeated record of 3-0-1 during the qualifying round. Haiti is scheduled to face Mexico in the quarterfinals on November 28, as they aim for a place in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
