Piero Hincapie is likely to return to the Arsenal squad for their upcoming match against Everton on Saturday afternoon, as he participated in the team’s pre-match walk. This marks a significant step in his recovery from injury.
During the pre-match activity, 21 players took part, indicating that most of them are expected to be included in the final 20-man squad. Only one player will need to be excluded, which is anticipated to be one of the three goalkeepers present.
Hincapie’s involvement is noteworthy since he has been sidelined recently. Alongside Hincapie, other players like Max Dowman and Martin Zubimendi were also part of the morning walk. Zubimendi’s presence comes after he dealt with an ankle issue, but he had already been on the bench for previous matches against Nottingham Forest and Bayern Munich.
Conversely, notable absences included Bukayo Saka, Christos Tzolis, and William Saliba. Saka is expected to miss at least six weeks due to his latest injury, raising concerns about his timeline for recovery.
Cristhian Mosquera was also seen in the squad during the walk, as he awaits his first appearances following his return from injury.
As the match approaches, Arsenal’s coaching staff will evaluate final lineup decisions, particularly how they will compensate for Saka’s absence. The Premier League match against Everton is set to kick off at 3:00 PM local time.
