The adfest 2027 Lotus Awards have opened their entry submissions for creatives across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. The awards recognize outstanding work within the field and are set to showcase a variety of artistic talents.
Submissions will follow a tiered deadline structure. The early bird deadline is on December 18, 2026, followed by a regular deadline on January 15, 2027. A late entry deadline has also been established for January 29, 2027, with entry fees increasing at each step.
This year’s awards have introduced new categories, including Gaming & Sports Lotus, along with a sub-category, Use of Humour, which will be featured in 12 existing Lotus categories. The organization has also renamed Print & Outdoor Craft Lotus to Creative Craft Lotus, reflecting a broader recognition of craft across various creative disciplines. Additionally, Digital Craft Lotus now includes more categories focusing on AI Craft, acknowledging the growing impact of artificial intelligence in creative work.
New Special Awards Announced
Two new Special Awards will be presented this year: Film Production Company of the Year and Campaign of the Year. Film Production Company of the Year will be calculated independently from the general Production Company of the Year award and will focus solely on film-based categories. Meanwhile, Campaign of the Year will honor the campaign that receives the highest overall score from finalists and winners across all Lotus categories.
The criteria for Media Agency of the Year and PR Agency of the Year have changed; both awards will now evaluate entries across all Lotus categories rather than being limited to their respective categories. The Digital Agency of the Year award has been discontinued.
adfest 2027, themed 30&Beyond, will take place from March 18 to March 20, 2027, at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, Thailand. Since its inception in 1998, adfest has continuously aimed to unite the creative community across Asia and beyond.
