Industrial Transformation Africa (ITAF) 2026 is set to launch from September 29 to October 1, 2026, at the OFEC venue in Casablanca, Morocco. This inaugural event aims to establish a premier international industrial trade platform in the country and across the African continent.
Connecting Global Expertise with Local Needs
ITAF is designed to drive industrial transformation, advanced automation, and smart manufacturing throughout Africa. As an extension of the renowned HANNOVER MESSE exhibition portfolio, the event seeks to link global technology expertise with the operational and structural ambitions of Morocco’s manufacturing sector and beyond. The overarching theme of the event is “Connecting Africa’s Industries, Creating Tomorrow.”
The exhibition will focus on key technologies that enhance productivity and facilitate digital transformation within the industrial sector. Highlighted sectors will include robotics and industrial automation, digital manufacturing, artificial intelligence applications, smart intralogistics, supply chain management systems, and sustainable energy solutions.
ITAF 2026 expects to bring together global technology providers, industrial leaders, and decision-makers to foster discussions and partnerships in automation and manufacturing. The event will feature a Hosted Buyer Programme and B2B Matchmaking sessions designed to connect exhibitors with approximately 70 pre-qualified industrial decision-makers and buyers from Morocco, Tunisia, and West Africa, including nations such as Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, and Cameroon.
An important element of the event is the Industrial Edge Summit, which will include discussions on Industry 4.0, cybersecurity, Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), and sustainable manufacturing practices. Additionally, the Smart Factory Academy Casablanca will focus on practical training and knowledge transfer, aimed at enhancing the skills of engineers and industrial talent to meet modern digital manufacturing standards.
Notable companies such as EFAFLEX, Festo, Siemens, and WIKA will participate in showcasing their technologies and solutions for the future of manufacturing. The event is organized in partnership with Smart Expos & Events Morocco, with several strategic partners and sponsors including UNIDO and GMAI, further bolstering its significance in the industrial sector.
