A new industrial development, Kyle Technology Park, has successfully completed its first phase of construction in Central Texas. This project features three buildings, each covering 25,000 square feet, for a total of 75,000 square feet, and is designed to support various tenants in warehouse and flex industrial operations, as reported by Cadence McShane Construction Company.
Situated on a 41-acre site at FM 1626 and Plum Creek Meadows, near Nitro Swimming, the location was selected for its accessibility to Interstate 35, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and proximity to West Austin and San Antonio, according to the company’s release.
“The completion of Phase I at Kyle Technology Park marks an important milestone in bringing high-quality flex industrial space to one of Central Texas’ fastest-growing markets,” said Srinath Pai Kasturi, executive vice president of Cadence McShane. He emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering adaptable industrial spaces for businesses.
This collaborative project involved Cadence McShane and TIG Real Estate Services, along with architectural services from Studio 8 Architects. Multiple infrastructure improvements were made to the site, which included earthwork, utility installation, drainage enhancements, and the addition of a new crossover road.
John Walsh, CEO and founder of TIG Real Estate Services, noted that Central Texas has become an appealing destination for industrial investment. He highlighted that Kyle Technology Park aims to address the increasing demand for flexible spaces with convenient access to critical transportation networks and regional business hubs.
Upon its completion, the technology park will consist of up to 11 buildings, offering around 300,000 square feet of space designated for office, industrial, showroom, and build-to-suit uses.
