Three players are tied for the lead at 11-under par heading into the final round of the Dominican Republic Tour Championship presented by Scotiabank. The decisive round will take place on Sunday at PGA Ocean’s 4, where players are vying for one of ten coveted Korn Ferry Tour cards.
The co-leaders are Omar Morales of Puebla, Mexico, Mesa Falleur from Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Charlie Crockett of Surrey, England. Morales and Falleur began the week ranked outside the top 10 on the season-long points list but are now in position to secure a tour card with a victory. Crockett, on the other hand, entered the tournament ranked sixth and is looking to build on his recent success from winning the ATB Classic presented by Building Trades of Alberta.
Morales is aiming to return to the Korn Ferry Tour after earning membership last year as the ninth finisher in the 2025 PGA Tour University Ranking. This season, he has recorded six top-25 finishes in 13 starts, including a notable fifth-place finish at the Mexico Championship presented by Scotia Wealth Management, though he ranked 42nd on the points list entering the championship.
Falleur, also a graduate of PGA Tour University, achieved membership this summer by placing 21st in the Class of 2026. He has had three top-25 finishes in eight starts and qualified for this week’s season finale as the last player in at 60th on the points list.
Just one stroke behind the leaders is Corey Pereira from Sacramento, California, who is currently second on the points list and has already secured a spot in the top 10. Tied for fourth at 10-under are Kyle Cottam of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Marcus Byrd from Temple Hills, Maryland, who held the 27th and 39th ranks respectively before the tournament.
Notably, the projected standings will award 600 points to all three leaders, but since only one player will earn the full amount on Sunday, several other players outside the top 10 remain strong candidates for Korn Ferry Tour membership. Among them are Patrick Sheehan, currently tied for 12th at 8-under, Riley Lewis tied for 18th at 6-under, and both Joey Savoie and Dawson Armstrong tied for 7th at 9-under.
