The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) will face Haiti in the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals next month. This matchup was confirmed following the conclusion of League A action on Monday night.
Haiti secured their position in the quarterfinals as the runners-up in Group 1. They ranked as the top second-place team due to their performance. The USMNT, currently in second place in the Concacaf rankings behind Mexico, learned of their opponent after Jamaica’s draw with Honduras on Monday night.
The quarterfinals will take place in a two-legged series, with the first match scheduled for November 14 at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, which has been designated as Haiti’s home venue due to safety concerns in Port-au-Prince.
U.S. Soccer has already announced that the return leg will occur on November 17 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Concacaf is expected to confirm the exact dates, times, and locations for both matches in the coming days.
The four teams that emerge victorious from the quarterfinals will qualify for the Nations League Finals, set to take place in March at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Additionally, these teams will secure a spot in next summer’s Concacaf Gold Cup, while the losing teams will need to go through the Gold Cup Prelims for qualification.
