The Panama City Panthers, a local semiprofessional football team, are set to hold their second annual combine and tryout on October 24, as they prepare for the upcoming spring season.
After a successful previous year, the Panthers aim to attract new talent to their championship-caliber program, which has secured titles in the 2025 Power Football League (PFL) and the 2026 Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL) Western Conference. The team has also reached the semifinals of the Gridiron Developmental Football League and made multiple championship appearances in both the PFL and APDFL.
This year’s combine will include position-specific drills, a 40-yard dash, and 7-on-7 competitions. The event will take place at Gore Park, with sign-in commencing at 9:30 a.m. and tryouts starting at 10 a.m.
Interested athletes can register for the tryout for a fee of $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the event. Pre-registration is available online.
With this combine, the Panthers look to identify the next generation of players eager to compete at a high level.
