Royal Caribbean plans to deploy four ships in Alaska for its 2028 cruise season, offering seven-night voyages from Seattle, Seward, and Vancouver starting in April. This expansion allows the cruise line to enhance its presence in the region.
The Anthem of the Seas is set to operate between Seward and Vancouver from May to September. Passengers will have the opportunity to visit notable destinations, including Hubbard Glacier and Ketchikan. Additionally, guests can opt for two- to six-night land Cruisetours that include excursions to Denali National Park.
Meanwhile, the Ovation of the Seas will run seven-night round-trip cruises from Seattle during the same months. Its itineraries are expected to feature stops in Sitka, Skagway, and Juneau, along with scenic views of Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
The Serenade of the Seas will sail from Vancouver, also offering seven-night itineraries from May to September. This ship’s routes include Icy Strait Point, Juneau, and Prince Rupert in British Columbia.
From Seattle, the Voyager of the Seas will begin its seven-night cruises in April, visiting Sitka, Juneau, and Skagway, with a stop in Victoria, British Columbia before returning to Seattle.
Travelers departing from Seward will utilize a new cruise terminal developed by Royal Caribbean Group in partnership with the Alaska Railroad. This facility provides convenient access to the rail station for guests seeking additional travel options within Alaska.
