Xiaomi has announced that its flagship Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max smartphones will launch globally in November 2026, marking their first expansion beyond China after their September debut. Singapore is among the first Southeast Asian markets to prepare for the arrival of these devices.
On November 2, Xiaomi confirmed global launch plans, prompting Singapore to open reservations for both models. Customers in Singapore can benefit from a S$300 coupon (approximately US$230) and a chance to receive promotional gifts valued at up to S$1,399 (around US$1,070) with qualifying orders. However, customers must act quickly, as the coupon available from 4 p.m. on November 3 will only be valid for the first 200 orders.
In addition to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have also initiated reservation campaigns, offering various promotional incentives. Malaysia’s reservation campaign includes 1,000 Mi Points and exclusive deals, while Thailand’s offers gifts valued at up to 4,199 baht (approximately US$130).
Xiaomi 18 Pro Rollout Across Southeast Asia
Xiaomi has teased the new series in Indonesia, where reports indicate that both the Xiaomi 18 and 18 Pro Max have been identified in the local TKDN certification database with a reported local-content score of 37.84%. However, the Xiaomi 18 Pro has not been listed in the certification records.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the 18 Pro series will also launch in the Philippines in November, although specific retail dates and model details are still pending. Despite these preparations, the company has not established a common sales schedule or confirmed identical model lineups across Southeast Asia.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-series processors, Leica-branded cameras, and secondary rear displays. The models that debuted in China are equipped with 7,000mAh and 8,500mAh batteries, allowing for up to 100W wired charging.
International models may differ in specifications; an Italian retailer has suggested smaller battery capacities of 6,000mAh and 7,050mAh for the Pro and Pro Max models, though Xiaomi has yet to verify these claims for Southeast Asia.
As the November launch approaches, specific details regarding pricing, retail dates, and regional hardware configurations remain unannounced. Buyers across Southeast Asia will need to stay tuned for updates as Xiaomi prepares for its broader market introduction.
