The 2026 SEMA Show opened today at the Las Vegas Convention Center, bringing together key players in the global automotive aftermarket for four days of product showcases, technology demonstrations, and business networking. Manufacturers, buyers, builders, and vehicle manufacturers are engaging over trends and innovations that shape vehicle performance, personalization, and repairs.
The SEMA Show highlights an industry that contributes approximately $383 billion to the U.S. economy and supports 1.25 million jobs, generating $107.7 billion in wages, according to a SEMA Economic Impact Study released on October 27, 2026. The study underscores ongoing consumer demand, with American consumers spending $52.92 billion on accessory and performance parts in 2025.
“The economic-impact data demonstrates the size and strength of the specialty automotive aftermarket, and the SEMA Show brings together the people and businesses behind that impact,” said SEMA CEO Mike Spagnola. He noted that it serves as a marketplace for manufacturers to turn ideas into products while helping buyers identify new opportunities.
Notable Manufacturer Participation
Major automotive manufacturers, including Ford, Harley-Davidson, Honda Racing Corp., Mitsubishi, Nissan, Stellantis (Dodge, Jeep, Mopar), and Toyota, are participating in this year’s event. Their involvement reinforces the Show’s position as a vital venue for industry collaboration and innovation.
Featuring over 1.1 million net square feet of exhibit space, the Show hosts more than 2,200 brands showcasing new products in various categories such as racing, performance, and off-road vehicles. More than 400 brands are exhibiting for the first time, introducing new products to an international audience.
Expanded Powersports and Technology Sections
The 2026 Show has introduced an expanded Powersports, Side-by-Side, and Adventure Lifestyle section, featuring motorcycles, dirt bikes, trailers, and related gear. This new layout, adjacent to the Truck, SUV, and Off-Road section, aims to capitalize on the growing crossover between automotive and outdoor recreation markets.
Additionally, the ADAS Showcase allows attendees to engage directly with vehicle manufacturer engineers and explore how modifications can impact advanced driver-assistance systems. Hands-on demonstrations will address various technical aspects, fostering future discussions in the industry.
The FutureTech Studio returns with over 20 vehicles and various technology demonstrations focused on advancing aftermarket product development. Topics include advanced powertrains, artificial intelligence, and automated driving technologies.
