This year is the second time the Ivorian capital has hosted the camp, continuing a tradition started in 2024 aimed at developing young African talent through expert coaching from FIBA and NBA professionals.
The program will include both theoretical and practical sessions designed to enhance individual and team skills. Values such as teamwork, dedication, and commitment will be emphasized throughout the camp.

Fostering Personal Development
In addition to athletic training, the camp aims to support the personal growth of participants. There may be opportunities for attendees to engage in Basketball Without Borders, an international basketball development program.
FIBA Africa seeks to nurture a sense of community and solidarity, important aspects for the sporting and personal development of young athletes.

Since its inception in 2021, the FIBA Africa regional youth camp has grown, reaching its sixth edition this year. Previous editions took place in various countries, including Kenya, Senegal, Madagascar, Morocco, Mali, Rwanda, Cameroon, and Egypt.
