BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham University football team is set to take on the Villanova Wildcats at Moglia Stadium this Saturday, October 17, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+, featuring Andrew Bogusch as the play-by-play announcer and Andrew Posadas as the analyst. Additionally, WFUV (90.7 FM) will provide coverage, with Max Langer calling the game on the WFUV Sports YouTube channel.
Fordham, fresh off a 20-14 victory over #15/19 Richmond last week, aims to secure its second consecutive win. This victory marked a significant milestone as it was the Rams’ 50th home win since 2012, contributing to an impressive home record of 50-26 (.658) during that period.
A few notable achievements for Fordham include freshman linebacker AJ Revella being named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week. This honor makes him the first Ram to receive the accolade this season and the second Fordham player to achieve a weekly award in 2026. Overall, Revella has made 31 total tackles this season, with his two fumble recoveries ranking third nationally.
Fordham’s recent victory over Richmond also established the Rams as one of the few FCS teams with multiple wins over opponents ranked in the Stats Perform Top 25 Poll this year. Along with the Rams, Northern Arizona, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, and Youngstown State have also secured two wins over ranked teams.
The upcoming game against Villanova marks the first meeting between the two teams since 2015. Fordham’s last triumph over the Wildcats occurred in 2013 when they won 27-24 at Jack Coffey Field. Notably, senior linebacker Andrew Osmun and senior long snapper Michael Doctor were named preseason All-Patriot League players.
Currently, four of Fordham’s remaining five conference opponents hold sub-.500 records in Patriot League action, presenting an opportunity for the Rams to continue their strong performance this season. After the matchup with Villanova, the Rams will continue their three-game homestand by facing Lafayette on October 24 at 1:00 p.m.
