Mongolia has officially selected its entry for the upcoming Eurovision Asia Song Contest, with musician Beck set to perform the song “Light” at the event. The announcement followed a live National Selection Show held on October 10, where viewers from around the world were invited to participate in the voting process.
During the event, four potential entries were presented, all performed by Beck. Following the performances, the public voting revealed “Light” as the winning song, which will represent Mongolia at Eurovision Asia on November 14, 2026. The song that secured second place was “Chamguigeer (Without You)“, while third place went to “One of a Kind“.
The selection of “Light” was determined through a scoring system that included contributions from a professional jury, home viewers, and international fans. The jury provided 40% of the total points, with another 40% coming from the audience vote in Mongolia, and the remaining 20% from a Rest of the World vote.
Beck is a multifaceted artist with nearly two decades of experience in music, acting, hosting, and modeling. He made his debut as a singer in 2007 and aims to create meaningful connections with his audience through his performances, bringing positivity and energy to each show.
For those unable to watch the live selection show, it is available for viewing on the Eurovision Song Contest’s official YouTube channel, where other shows related to Eurovision Asia are also streamed.
